Leadership and management workshop programme

Businesses in Wales can access leadership and management workshops at a subsidised rate of 50% for large organisations and 70% for SMEs. The workshops are provided by 12 contracted training providers across Wales.

Workshop content ranges from skills for first-line managers, to innovation and inspirational and strategic leadership for owners and senior managers. Content covers the National Occupational Standards for leadership and management levels 2-7 and all workshops can be accredited, should the delegate wish.

  • All businesses must be based in Wales

Cost

The workshop prices are fixed. SMEs receive a 70% subsidy towards the cost of the programme, while large companies receive a 50% subsidy which dramatically reduces the cost. Operational Level workshops (up to and including NQF level 4) cost £140 per delegate per day - an SME receiving a 70% subsidy would pay £42 per delegate per day. Strategic Level workshops (NQF level 5 and above) cost £190 per delegate per day - an SME receiving a 70% subsidy would pay £57 per delegate per day. SMEs are classed as businesses that employ fewer than 250 staff and have a turnover of less than 50m Euros.
