Sector Leadership Fund

Two programmes have so far had applications to the Sector Leadership Fund approved:

Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council for facilities management, housing, property, planning, cleaning and parking, has won a grant for its Leadership and Management in Housing programme. This aims to develop and pilot an accredited training programme at level 4 and 5, targeted at improving the change management and innovation skills in the sector.

Semta, the Sector Skills Council for science, engineering and manufacturing technologies, has won funding to deliver the project, Leadership and Management in High Performance Companies. This will provide a suite of programmes, in partnership with employers that will embed strategic workforce planning into a company’s business cycle.
