Welsh capital attracts senior managers from across the UK

Business leaders from across the UK are heading to the Welsh capital for a lesson in management and leadership.

Cardiff-based Fix Training Ltd responded to an apparent gap in the market to devise the TRUE Leaders Programme for directors and senior managers.

The unique programme enables participants to achieve three Institute of Leadership and Management qualifications at Level 7 in one year, through monthly workshops.

The workshops are delivered by training specialists and successful business people. They integrate knowledge, latest research and business experience to create a programme that delivers personal and organisational impact.

Guest presenters bring real-world experience of business acumen to the programme and enable participants to apply in their organisation the skills and knowledge they have gained.

The programme’s five core themes are decision-making, change, quality, true leadership and continuing development.

It is 70% funded by the Welsh Government for small and medium-sized businesses, who pay £767 to take part. Large, private-sector organisations employing more than 250 people and with a turnover of more than £50m receive a 50% subsidy.

Fix Training’s director Helen Jones said: “The TRUE Leaders Programme develops the real world management and leadership skills that are essential for organisations to thrive and grow in this challenging economic climate.”
